David, I've only had a chance to skim the Sachiko piece so far, but it seems very ambitious and compelling, kudos. the one thing I'd say is that if your goal was to be thorough, you missed many crucial releases:

do, the Filament box, all of I.S.O., Good Morning Good Night, the Filament on Amoebic, the Meehan duo, the Samartzis duo, Les Hautes Solitudes

easily enough for a part 2 at similar length, it just seems a shame in a way to tackle something this big and stop part-way.

anyway, thanks for this, looking forward to digging into this and the Lutz piece in more depth later...

Hi Jon, There was indeed a point when I realized I hadn't written about Good Morning Good Night, and that that was the tip of the iceberg, and I didn't honestly have the will to go on beyond what I'd already done. So while initially the aim was to work through as many of Sachiko's releases as I could (the ones where she plays a noticeable role, rather than simply merging into an ensemble), the task proved too much for where my head was at (it took about 6 months to get this far at all!). Maybe at some point I'll work my way through the other albums in similar fashion, we'll see...
